Terms & Conditions
THESE TERMS ARE AN ENFORCEABLE CONTRACT BETWEEN YOU, SONOMA COUNTY WINEGRAPE COMMISSION (“COMPANY,” “WE,” “OUR” OR “US”), AND DEERE & COMPANY AND ITS AFFILIATES (“JOHN DEERE”). THESE TERMS AFFECT YOUR LEGAL RIGHTS. YOU, COMPANY AND JOHN DEERE AGREE TO RESOLVE DISPUTES BY ARBITRATION ONLY AND TO GIVE UP ALL RIGHTS TO (A) A JURY TRIAL OR (B) PARTICIPATION IN ANY CLASS ACTION. YOU CAN READ MORE ABOUT THESE REQUIREMENTS BELOW.
BY CLICKING THE “I AGREE” BUTTON OR BY USING THE JOHN DEERE WINE CLUB WEBSITE, INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, BY PARTICIPATING IN THE WINE CLUB, YOU HEREBY AGREE TO THE FOLLOWING TERMS & CONDITIONS AND OUR PRIVACY POLICY.
IF AT ANY TIME YOU DO NOT AGREE TO THESE TERMS & CONDITIONS OR THE PRIVACY POLICY, PLEASE DO NOT USE THE COMPANY SITES.
MEMBERSHIP
By signing up for the John Deere Wine Club Powered by Sonoma County Farmers (“WINE CLUB”) membership (“Membership”), you agree to these Wine Club Terms and certify that you are twenty-one (21) years of age or older. No person under the age of twenty-one (21) may use the Company Sites or Mobile SMS Texting services.
We may refuse to register any person or service any order at any time in our sole discretion.
By signing up for Membership, you authorize WINE CLUB to charge your credit card for member wine releases, including all applicable shipping charges, taxes, and other fees associated with your Membership. Your Membership is ongoing until canceled pursuant to these Terms. Wine releases are specially curated by WINE CLUB in partnership with Sonoma County farmers and wineries and are not customizable.
Membership is currently available to consumers who reside in The United States.
SHIPMENTS
Membership includes two (2) shipments per year, scheduled for April and October.
Each shipment will contain six (6) bottles of wine from Sonoma County wineries, pre-selected by the Wine Club in celebration of Sonoma County agriculture and farming heritage.
You will receive notice of each shipment approximately two (2) weeks prior to shipment.
MEMBERSHIP TIERS AND PRICING
The Wine Club offers Membership with pricing not to exceed $400 per shipment.
WINE CLUB reserves the right to offer special or limited membership categories, promotional pricing, or added benefits from time to time.
Members may receive additional benefits and offers beyond wine shipments, including but not limited to:
- Discounted flat-rate shipping
- Invitations to wine club events
- Member-only educational webinars featuring growers, winemakers, and agricultural leaders
- Access to exclusive John Deere Wine Club experiences
Benefits are subject to change.
GIFT MEMBERSHIPS
You may purchase a Membership as a gift provided that you pre-purchase at least two (2) shipments. Gift memberships do not automatically renew after the initial prepaid shipments.
All recipients must be at least 21 years of age.
WINE CLUB NOTIFICATIONS
By providing your email address, you authorize WINE CLUB to send you information related to your Membership in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
You will be notified of upcoming shipments via email. It is your responsibility to ensure that your billing address, shipping address, and email address are accurate and current.
WINE CLUB may update consumer credit card information based on verified information from third-party service providers.
Unsubscribing from marketing emails may prevent you from receiving important Membership-related communications.
BILLING
You agree to provide current, complete, and accurate credit/debit card and contact information and to update such information as necessary.
By purchasing a Membership, you authorize WINE CLUB to charge your credit/debit card approximately two (2) weeks prior to each scheduled shipment (April and October).
Membership fees are prepaid and nonrefundable once processed.
Failure to pay may result in suspension or cancellation of your Membership.
You are responsible for any fees charged by your financial institution.
Billing disputes must be reported within thirty (30) days.
AUTOMATIC RENEWAL
Membership automatically renews for each successive shipment until canceled.
Your credit/debit card will be charged automatically two (2) weeks prior to each shipment without further authorization from you unless and until you cancel your Membership.
We will provide advance notice of any material changes to Membership fees or benefits.
SHIPPING
- Shipping is available only within shippable states in the United States.
- We cannot ship to PO Boxes.
- An adult (21+) signature is required upon delivery.
- Carriers will attempt delivery three (3) times before returning shipment.
- Returned shipments are subject to a $25 return fee.
- Neither Sonoma County Winegrape Commission nor John Deere shall be responsible for temperature-related damage or carrier errors.
- No refunds are available; flawed wine may be replaced upon verification.
CHANGE OF ADDRESS
You must notify WINE CLUB of address changes before shipment processing. Additional shipping charges caused by address changes will be charged to you.
CANCELLATION
You may cancel your Membership by:

- Logging into your account
- Calling: 707-687-0334
Cancellation requests must be received at least fifteen (15) days prior to the next scheduled billing date to avoid being charged for the upcoming shipment.
Cancellation requests received after processing will apply to future shipments.
Skipping shipments or suspending Memberships is not permitted.
WEBSITE
WINE CLUB provides the website on an “as is” basis without warranties of any kind. You agree not to violate applicable laws or access nonpublic areas of the site.
Third-party links are provided for convenience only and do not imply endorsement.
ARBITRATION AND CLASS ACTION WAIVER
YOU AGREE THAT ALL DISPUTES BETWEEN YOU AND COMPANY AND/OR JOHN DEERE WILL BE RESOLVED BY BINDING, INDIVIDUAL ARBITRATION UNDER THE AMERICAN ARBITRATION ASSOCIATION’S CONSUMER RULES.
YOU EXPRESSLY WAIVE TRIAL BY JURY AND ANY RIGHT TO PARTICIPATE IN A CLASS ACTION.
Small claims court actions may be permitted where applicable.
LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Sonoma County Winegrape Commission and John Deere and their affiliates (“Released Parties”) shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, punitive, or consequential damages.
Your sole remedy is to discontinue use of the Wine Club website.
Force majeure events excuse performance obligations.
GOVERNING LAW
These Terms are governed by California law and applicable U.S. federal law.
You agree to submit to the jurisdiction of courts located in Sonoma County, California, for matters not subject to arbitration.
INDEMNIFICATION
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Sonoma County Winegrape Commission and John Deere and their affiliates from claims arising out of:
- Your misuse of the website;
- Your violation of these Terms;
- Your violation of third-party rights; or
- Use of your account by another person.
